Job Summary:
The Sr. Specialist of Client Servicing assists the Client Servicing Director with all the responsibilities of processing the data, transactions, invoices, and reporting needed to support our client relationships, and also bears the responsibility for assisting management in working with other BK and business teams necessary to support the client relationships, which may include training, answering client questions, and completing other duties as directed by the Director of Client Servicing. This position reports to the Unsecured Bankruptcy Operations and Client Servicing Director.
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Maintain established levels of productivity, efficiency, and quality to ensure company requirements and goals are met.
+ Determine appropriate routing of client questions and requests.
+ Research client accounts with invoicing/placement/payment/putback/recall/refund issues
+ Access NDC and/or Chapter 13 Trustee web sites to confirm payments and claims data while working with client systems as necessary to reconcile differences.
+ Partner very closely with internal technology (mostly data management) and client technology groups to ensure a very smooth transaction of account data and payments.
+ Work with clients to obtain the media needed for claims or objections as well as help facilitate the process for the client.
+ Serve as a liaison with clients to ensure any issues are dealt with timely.
+ Be responsible for client account movement between AMCS and BKS/ILS and work with PLX, RCX, DUF, SUF exception files in both systems; perform updates of the systems as directed.
+ Process client invoices and remittances.
+ Process trustee refunds on behalf of clients
+ Monitor smoke detector reports
+ Play a key role in driving and assisting with onboarding of new clients or existing clients.
+ Maintain acceptable levels of accuracy and productivity.
+ Ensure processes are documented and updated as required.
+ Assist management with setting the team’s daily priorities, goals and worklists.
+ Perform various administrative duties as assigned by management.
+ Assist with training of new employees as well as the cross-training of all employees.
+ Assist with the upkeep and review of procedural documents and work instructions.
+ Assist with creating and sending monthly client reports.
+ May be expected to assist with processes outside of Bankruptcy Client Services.
+ Prepare ad hoc and financial reporting as directed.
+ Participate in special projects as directed.
+ Work closely with management to assist with the daily upkeep of the Client Servicing team.
+ Work with internal and client teams to recognize, mitigate, and manage risk and compliance issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ 3-5 years in bankruptcy, operations and/or client services background required.
+ Bankruptcy knowledge preferred.
+ Possesses strong analytical skills.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or SQL Server preferred.
+ Ability to understand and comprehend contracts and other legal documents.
+ Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; must have demonstrated this task in a previous position or assignment.
+ Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Exceptional organizational skills.
+ Associate in good standing.
+ Strong work ethic and committed to company values.
Educational Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
