Job Description

We’re looking for a highly organized, people-focused leader to manage staff scheduling for our Long-Term Care (LTC) department. You’ll ensure optimal staffing to support quality care delivery, maintain compliance with policies and regulations, and contribute to a positive work environment for both new and existing team members.

What You’ll Do:

+ Manage master schedules for all LTC units, adjusting based on census, PTO, call-ins, and budget

+ Coordinate with leadership to maintain adequate staffing across all shifts

+ Oversee the LTC and PRN staff scheduling process, including time and attendance tracking

+ Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new staff

+ Supervise assigned staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback

+ Analyze staffing data to support decision-making and operational improvements

+ Address attendance issues in partnership with leadership for optimal outcomes

+ Maintain accurate staffing records, payroll reconciliation, and system data entry

+ Collaborate across departments for new hire orientation and department-specific training

+ Support regulatory compliance and promote quality, safety, and cultural awareness

+ Represent the department professionally in all communications and interactions

What You’ll Need:

+ **Bachelor’s degree** or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ **3+ years of LTC nursing experience (CNA, CMT, LPN, RN)**

+ Demonstrated knowledge of clinical staff scheduling

+ Experience with timekeeping, payroll, and scheduling software

+ Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Bonus Points For:

+ Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and timekeeping platforms

+ Prior leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare
