Sodexo is seekinga Registered Dietitian in Springfield, Oregon, one of two Sacred Heart facilities in the Eugene-Springfield area owned by PeaceHealth.PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend is a 388-bed, state-of-the-art tertiary care medical center.

A Level II trauma center is one of two PeaceHealth Sacred Heart facilities in Eugene-Springfield.

The hospital provides full women's and children's services, includinglabor and delivery (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Childbirth) , and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neonatal\_Intensive\_Care\_Unit) .

What You'll Do

+ Float to 2 different locations and work in all areas of the hospital inpatient, providing care for patients with a variety of disease states

+ Will cross-train with the clinical team in all disciplines that allow growth to a higher acuity level

+ Perform patient screens, assessments, education, and documentation utilizing Epic EMR

+ Implement care plans and counsel patients and family members as needed

+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, a strong team of dietitians in a challenging acute care setting

+ Be involved as a preceptor for dietetic interns, new hires, interns, and peers

What You Bring

+ A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential

+ Preferred: candidate with experience in Pediatric Nutrition or strong interest and willingness to learn how to work in this area

+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
