Overview
The Audience Strategist would be responsible for the strategic planning and tactical activation across all paid audience implementation across the client account focusing primarily on programmatic activation. This includes consulting on strategic approaches to how all Paid, Owned, Shared & Earned audiences should be segmented, applied & merchandised across all client campaigns.
The audience strategist would work directly with the client to understand the 1P audience make up and segmentation needs while evaluating outside 2P/3P data providers to help determine which additional data is needed to extend, complement and grow overall audience approach.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize audience frameworks which feeds into Strategy comms framework
+ Lead segmentation recommendations
+ Provide input to guide partner & data selection
+ Organization of data segmentation classification, resources & process documents internally
+ Facilitate taxonomy management
+ Guide process improvement initiatives
+ Cascade learnings and best practices across various buying pods (investment/programmatic/social)
+ Assess audience performance across (1P, 2P & 3P) on a quarterly basis to inform optimizations & identify opportunities
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with a concentration in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights
+ 3+ years of experience in media strategy/planning experience across media channels
+ Experience in activating or strategizing specifically for programmatic
+ Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
+ Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
+ Experience working within media systems/platforms (Kantar, MOAT, Prisma, ComScore etc.)

The benefits offerings listed are available to U.S. based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
Compensation Range: $79,990 - $114,975 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
