    Job Description

    Seeking an experienced information technology (IT) professional to support a healthcare organization. Expertise Windows server, Linux server, virtualization, physical servers, storage and network administration are essential elements in providing support for this environment. The candidate will need a strong understanding of TCP/IP, IT security principles, proactive attitude, strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger technical team.

    Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, upgrading and decommissioning of data center equipment, network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations and network-attached storage equipment.

    + Application support to is an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities that ensures a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure environments.

     

    If you are looking for a hands-on role with the flexibility to learn and apply a wide range of core technical capabilities, this position is for you! This is a non-telecommuting position that requires you to be on-site and includes some off-shift work and occasional weekend activities.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 5 years-Information Technology (Required),reasonable experience

    + Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 50 lbs. independently.

    + Experience administering Microsoft’s Windows Server (i.e. 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, or 2022) operating system functions, security policies and technical security safeguards

    + Experience with physical servers, back-up and network administration

    + Proactive attitude, strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger technical team.

    Desired Skills:

    + Experience with Windows Server user account management, administration and access controls

    + Experience with network-attached storage or storage area networks

    + Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet and SSH

    + VMware experience (VSphere vCenter, ESXi)
