Join Meta's Reality Labs as an experienced Audio Hardware Technical Program Manager, leading the development of innovative audio hardware subsystems for our cutting-edge Smart Glasses products. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll drive industry-leading audio experiences and shape the future of wearable technology.
Required Skills:
Technical Program Manager, Audio Hardware Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with audio hardware engineering teams to define and execute next-generation hardware products
2. Own end-to-end audio hardware subsystem development during New Product Introduction (NPI), including architecture, design, KPI definition, system tuning, and quality verification
3. Coordinate and drive engineering design deliverables, such as subsystem architecture, specifications, DOE, and validation plans
4. Manage development, delivery, and qualification of audio subsystems based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times, and business needs
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams (System PD, EE, Product Management, Operations, Audio SW, Quality, more…) to develop best practices and technology development processes in a fast-paced environment
6. Drive program milestones, communicate status to teams and leadership, identify risks, and coordinate mitigation plans
7. Optimize program structure for clarity and efficiency, ensuring effective communication within and between internal and external teams
8. Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review
9. Up to 20% international travel
Minimum Qualifications:

10. BS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, acoustic engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline
11. 5+ years experience working with the development of audio or similar hardware systems
12. 5+ years of work experience as a program manager managing hardware from concept to mass production

13. 3+ years of experience working with design and manufacturing of audio hardware subsystems for complex consumer electronic devices
14. Experience with head-mounted products or devices
15. Experience with manufacturing under JDM, ODM, and OEM models
Public Compensation:
$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
