Responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing financial information and other accounting duties for

assigned areas of Progress Rail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;

• 5+ years of experience in an accounting;

Key Job Elements:

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for journal entries on routine basis;

• Monitor and adjust balances;

• Monitor SAP transactions;

• Review customer spending;

• Account reconciliations for area;

• Responsible for monthly warranty review report;

• Prepare and update monthly and annual warranty reports.

Advanced duties and responsibilities

• Provide advanced level reporting upon request;

• May supervise the work of others.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems;

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);

• Knowledge and experience in warranty transactions required;

• Ability to work independently and with teams;

• Experience working in a manufacturing, accounting environment;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail;

• Microsoft Office skills required, expert skills with spreadsheets;

• Strong organizational and analytical skills required.
