    DuPont has an immediate opening for experienced **Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians** at our Newark, DE site.

     

    The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

     

    As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other innovative people to maintain, repair, and improve critical production equipment. Here, you will make an impact by:

     

    + Performing all the duties of a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in keeping production and auxiliary equipment operational and processes going.

    + Troubleshoot difficult equipment issues using drawings, equipment manuals and internet resources while utilizing an advanced skill set in most of the following areas: pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, and electrical.

    + Participating in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position.

    + Follow all plant safety rules and regulations, wear PPE as required per procedures.

    + Assure labor time is entered in maintenance work orders along with detailed resolution.

    + Use RCFA methodology to resolve issues while receiving general instruction on assigned tasks.

    + Work with maintenance coordinator to prioritize break in work or pull work forward as time allows.

    + Demonstrating behaviors aligned with DuPont’s Core Values which are highest ethical behavior, protecting the planet, safety and respect for people.

    + Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.

     

    Your Skills and Expertise

    Required – To set you up for success in this role from day one, DuPont requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

    + Possess a High School Diploma/GED

    + Two (2) year trade school or higher (Completed and verified prior to start) OR two (2) years’ experience as a skilled technician in a private, public, government, or military environment

    + Current Journeyman Electrician’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months

    Preferred – Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    + Three (3) years’ experience in a maintenance function

    + Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment to include PLC’s, sensors and operator interface stations

    + Ability to perform basic, pipefitting and millwright tasks, rigging, valve and pump rebuilds, HVAC troubleshooting, and other facilities related tasks as assigned
