    Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Finance Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Patient Accounts Receivable Supervisor! This position will direct the DCT system wide accounts receivable system and staff to ensure accurate and timely collection on accounts.

    Primary responsibilities:

    + Provides expert accounts receivable and collections consultation to the Direct Care and Treatment Division.

    + Manage the work units assigned, including hiring and employee development.

    + Monitor accounts receivable system reports to assure timely and accurate collections are occurring.

     

    Please note: This position has a flexible work arrangement that may allow for a mixture of working in our office and Telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework-2025.pdf) ; however, this may change in the future with notice.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Demonstrated leadership experience. Leadership experience can include:

     

    + Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead;

    + Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4);

    + A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - experience must include:

    + 1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions

    + 100+ hours per year time commitment

    AND

    Three (3) years of advanced work experience interpreting and analyzing fiscal data related to Accounts Receivable. Experience must demonstrate:

     

    + Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    + Advanced knowledge of public and private financing programs for health-related services such as Medicare, Medical Assistance, Group Residential Housing, MinnesotaCare, managed care and private insurance programs

    + Drafting policies and procedures within Accounts Receivable

    + Experience working in healthcare billing, collections and accounts receivable tracking

    + Experience directing work activities of staff and monitoring and reporting on work performance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, healthcare administration, finance, accounting or related field.

    + Experience in human relations to motivate and coordinate teams of staff and internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

    + Excellent analytical, technical, writing and administrative skills
