Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Programmer in the Virginia Beach area. This programmer will be responsible for interpreting AV systems drawings, gathering programming requirements, and producing new modules and interfaces. They will design control system programming and user interfaces to meet system capabilities and requirements. Their role includes installing control programs and touch panel designs both onsite and remotely, mentoring Associate Programmers, and performing commissioning and acceptance testing of code. They will test integrated systems, troubleshoot as needed, and demonstrate completed systems to clients. Additionally, they will create programming-related documentation, maintain and update programming and code in installed systems, and manage control code in a version control repository. Travel to various job sites is required, along with other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements
Read and interpret AV blueprints
Strong understanding of Crestron, AMX, and Extron systems
Crestron CTI-P201 or AMX Control Programmer Associate training
Experience in writing DSP**
Valid Driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle report and drug test C++, C+, Python, etc. programming exp null
