    Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a **Senior Pricing Analyst (Level 4)** in our Business Management department. The position will be in our facility in **Rocket Center, WV** . The selected candidate will become an integral part of the **Missile Products** Pricing & Estimating team tasked with providing guidance and support to the business unit activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located on-site in either **Rocket Center, WV; Elkton, MD; or McLean, VA.**

    _Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:_

    + Estimating labor costs of manufacturing and engineering based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers

    + Compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications.

    + Analyzing specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts

    + Calculating production costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data

    + Collecting cost data from functional representatives and subcontractors

    + Preparing cost reports and presenting results to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators and customer representatives

    + Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process.

    + Preparing and maintaining historical cost data

    + Supporting Cost Estimating team initiatives and continuous improvement.

    + Participating as a member of the contract negotiating team.

    + Understanding the requirements for Supplier price cost analysis

    + Interacting with other functional areas (Business Management, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Logistics) to develop strategies in support of proposal requirements and deadlines.

     

    This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

     

    Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Pricing Analyst Level 4:

     

    + High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of related experience

    + Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience

    + Aerospace/defense industry and business management experience

    + Extensive experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations

    + Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance.

    + Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Working knowledge of material pricing techniques

    + Strong presentation skills

    + Ability to create Microsoft Excel macros

    + ProPricer experience

    + Knowledge of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)

    + Active Government Secret Clearance

     

    Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $170,300.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
