    Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

    This position requires the Lecturer-Pool faculty be available to teach one to four online courses. The availability to teach face-to-face courses on the main SHSU campus in Huntsville, TX, is considered a plus. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis.

    Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):

    Candidate should have in hand, prior to start date, minimum of a Master’s degree in Communication Studies. PhD preferred in related field.

    Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):

    Minimum some college teaching experience, TA experience or other adjunct.
