Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking the position of an Janitorial Site Supervisor.

$ 21.00 / Hour

Job Summary:

The **Janitorial Site** **Supervisor** is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and sanitation of Broadway at the Beach, ensuring all restrooms, common areas, and parking lots are maintained at a high standard. This role requires managing janitorial staff, scheduling, quality control, and ensuring all cleaning operations align with the property’s 24-hour cleaning plan. The Janitorial Manager will work closely with other department heads to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Cleaning Management:

+ Supervise daily janitorial operations, including restroom cleaning, trash removal, common area upkeep, and parking lot maintenance.

+ Implement and oversee the **24-hour cleaning plan** , ensuring deep cleaning is conducted overnight.

+ Coordinate **quarterly cleaning schedules** for light poles, awning windows, and bridges.

+ Monitor cleanliness standards and conduct routine inspections.

+ Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and in working condition.

Staffing & Supervision:

+ Recruit, train, and supervise janitorial staff, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.

+ Manage work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels during **peak and non-peak** seasons.

+ Provide leadership and motivation to ensure high performance and accountability.

+ Enforce safety protocols and compliance with company policies.

Budget & Resource Management:

+ Work with vendors to procure cleaning materials and equipment within budget guidelines.

+ Track expenses and ensure efficient use of resources.

Communication & Coordination:

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for janitorial issues during operational hours (5 AM – 11 PM).

+ Work closely with the **Manager** **on Duty (MOD)** and othersiteleaders to address cleanliness concerns in real-time.

+ Respond promptly to emergencies, guest complaints, and maintenance requests.

+ Prepare reports on janitorial operations, staffing, and supply usage.

Qualifications:

+ **Experience:** 3+ years in janitorial management, facility maintenance, or a related field.

+ **Leadership Skills:** Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team.

+ **Organizational Skills:** Strong ability to multitask and manage cleaning schedules efficiently.

+ **Budget Management:** Experience handling department budgets, scheduling, and vendor negotiations.

+ **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ **Physical Requirements:** Ability to walk long distances, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in an outdoor environment.

+ **Schedule Flexibility:** Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience managing janitorial operations in a high-traffic retail, entertainment, or hospitality setting.

+ Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and cleaning best practices.

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
