    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Chicago, IL)


    Description

    Job Duties

    + Financial Reporting and Investment Accounting: Oversee the accounting for private equity funds, capital calls, distributions, and investment valuations.

    + Quarterly and annual reports on fund performance, including P& L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

    + Monthly financial statements for management entities

    + General ledger

    + Management fees, carried interest, and any other fund-related charges or income.

    + Track fund expenses, investor transactions, capital raises,

    + Work closely with the investment team, including periodic valuations of investments.

    + Prepare financial analysis reports for budgeting/forecasting

    + Coordinate with external auditors for all funds, management entities, and portfolio companies

    + Tax Reporting: Assist in prep of tax returns for all funds and management entities

    Requirements

    Requirements

    + Accounting or Finance degree

    + Financial Services Industry experience. Will look at law office too or similar industry.

    + 2-6 years of accounting experience is ideal but some flex if more experience. Really need someone who will stick around and grow with the firm.

    + PE experience a huge plus – PE makes the accounting complex

    + Public accounting a plus

    + Auditing background a plus
