    Description

    leading employer in Walnut Creek is seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with tax regulations. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining employee satisfaction while ensuring accurate and timely payroll distribution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for 200+ employees.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

    + Reconcile payroll discrepancies and prepare payroll reports.

    + Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of payroll processing experience; CPP certification is a plus.

    + Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, Kronos, or Paychex.

    + Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements.

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
