    Description

    Our client, a manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage payroll and benefits administration for a multi-state workforce. Based in the Lansdale, Pennsylvania area, this role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, compliance with regulations, and handling employee inquiries with professionalism. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS platforms and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Collect, verify, and input employee timekeeping data into payroll systems.

    • Assist in calculating bonuses and other compensation components during monthly, quarterly, and year-end processing.

    • Address employee and management inquiries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies as needed.

    • Prepare and deliver payroll reports to supervisors and relevant departments upon request.

    • Oversee 401(k) retirement plan administration and ensure compliance with all regulations.

    • Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to identify and correct discrepancies.

    • Collaborate with external vendors, including payroll and benefits providers, to ensure seamless operations.

    • Manage the distribution of W-2 forms to employees and resolve any related issues.

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.

     

    • Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as UltiPro, Kronos, or UKG Pro.

    • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and compliance requirements.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.

    • Familiarity with benefits administration, including 401(k) and insurance programs.

    • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and discretion.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies and inquiries.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
