Description We are looking for a dedicated Operations Processor to join our team in Carpinteria, California. This role involves managing financial and administrative tasks to ensure seamless operational processes within a purchasing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, compliance, and a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and prioritize daily team activities to ensure timely and accurate task completion.

• Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of daily reports and ensure their accuracy.

• Review and authorize departmental and wire transfer requests.

• Monitor trade file transmissions, confirmations, and reconciliations to meet deadlines.

• Assign and analyze service and research requests to identify trends and improvements.

• Approve and track process improvement initiatives while reporting their outcomes.

• Act as the primary subject matter expert for the department, addressing escalations and inquiries.

• Manage cost basis and tax lot reporting on a periodic basis.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

• Lead and participate in internal projects, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are well-informed. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent work experience may be considered.

• A minimum of four years of experience in financial services or operations roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and account reconciliation processes.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain meticulous compliance records.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train less experienced team members effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to provide constructive feedback and lead discussions.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
