AN URGENT SEARCH IS ON!!! A LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT IS IMMEDIATELY NEEDED FOR A HIGHLY RESPECTED LAW FIRM THAT IS EXPERIENCNG A LOT OF GROWTH IN NORTH DALLAS!!

Are you ready to take the next step? This highly visible position may be exactly what you have been looking for. And, the firm is hiring immediately! The selected candidate must be proactive and possess strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Your excellent time management and organizational skills will help you glide through your days.

Here is a sample of your responsibilities:

Heavy calendaring, docketing file management, and e-filing

Assist with opening and closing of client matters

Revise, edit, and proofread a variety of legal documents

File hard copies of documents and maintain electronic document system

Maintain the case calendar and observe deadlines

Collaborate with attorneys on key discovery and e-filing

Attention to detail and organization is essential

Follow up with your attorneys on deadlines and manage their docket effectively

Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements

• A college degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant in a Law Firm

• Possess cooperative spirit; participate and collaborate in a team-based environment

• Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)

• Litigation experience needed

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Ability to organize workflow and use time efficiently

• Ability to show strong attention to detail

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands

• Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative

• Ability to be resourceful
