• Warehouse Associate/Back Up Driver

    Power-Flo Technologies Rochester is now hiring a warehouse associate/backup driver!

     

    This is a full-time, Monday - Friday opportunity.

     

    Salary Range: $16 - $20/hour + Benefits

    Warehouse Associate/Back Up Driver Key Responsibilities :

    + Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, organizing etc.

    + Pull and stage orders for shipment

    + Organize Inventory

    + Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles (to act as the back up driver on an as needed basis)

    + Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle

    + Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day

    + Obey all traffic laws and parking regulations

    + Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders

    Warehouse Associate/Back Up Driver Requirements :

    + 2+ years of warehouse experience required

    + Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles

    + Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification

    + Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies

    + Ability to work well both independently and on a team and be willing to learn

    + Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills

    + Box Truck experience (16-18 ft) and Flatbed truck experience is a plus. No CDL required.

    + Forklift experience a plus

    Warehouse Group Physical Requirements :

    + Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds

    + Ability to work on elevated platforms

    + Ability to climb ladders

    + This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching

    + You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions

    + Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery
