Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGT5268000 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 103 (Volunteer Chapter). Responsibilities As a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST GS-2003-11, you will review, analyze, and interpret logistical directives and procedural instructions, to include internal controls from higher authority, and recommends local policy and procedures for the Division. Provide functional analysis of automated support requirements. Assist subordinate branches within the Division in establishing local procedure. Evaluate the effect of new supply and services program on funding requirements and develops or participates in the development of justification for budget submission / modification. Plan and schedule work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 36 months or 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
