Adecco is hiring immediately for a General Labor Warehouse Associate, in San Antonio TX. Pay starting at $17.00 p/hr. This is an opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career.

Job Description: _(Please add to the description - this is for our internal team to source and assess candidates)_ **What you’ll do on a typical day:**

+ Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing

+ Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped

+ Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, and other stock items; distribute items to shipping team

+ Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic

+ Complete your work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures

What you need to succeed :

At a minimum, you’ll need:

+ To be at least 18 years of age

+ High School Diploma/GED equivalent

It’d be great if you also have:

+ Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to varying freight volumes

+ Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry

+ Experience loading and unloading trailers

+ Basic written and verbal communication skills

Special Requirements or Call outs: _(ex: standing for long hours, lifting requirements, etc.)_

+ Standing for extended periods of time

+ Constant movement throughout the day

+ Capable of lifting to 50 lbs. on their own with or without Pallet jack/Dolly depending on product

+ Lifting Requirements up to 75 lbs. or greater (assisted / team lift) Pallet jack/Dolly without Pallet jack/Dolly depending on product

This Site Location Requirements or Call outs VERY HEAVY WORKLOAD – Warehouse temps are very warm during the summer time

+ Moving at steady paste

+ Finished with task, ask what’s next or seek work independently

+ Temperatures

+ Using a drill – (and other tools to build & break down Peloton & MYX bikes)

**Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
