St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team. As a vital part of our integrated mental health services, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care in an outpatient setting, working with a diverse adult patient population. Position Highlights:

+ Full-time, hospital-employed role in an established outpatient behavioral health program.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse outpatient population.

+ Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring for efficacy and side effects.

+ Utilize evidence-based psychotherapy techniques when appropriate.

+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.

+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case discussions.

+ Engage in patient and family education to support adherence to treatment plans.

+ Stay current with advancements in psychiatry and behavioral health best practices.

Qualifications:

Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York

Preferred Experience - Training or experience in outpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, or subspecialties such as geriatric or child psychiatry is preferred but not required.

Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution

Skills - Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered empathetic communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

+ Base Salary Range - $225,333 - $345,548 (commensurate with experience).

+ Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.
