    St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our expanding primary care team. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in an established, patient-centered medical home. As a vital part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Family Medicine Physician will play a key role in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive care, and fostering strong patient-provider relationships.

    Position Highlights:

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

    + Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on preventive care.

    + Develop individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and patient goals.

    + Work collaboratively with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

    + Perform minor office-based procedures, such as suturing, skin lesion removal, and joint injections (if applicable).

    + Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.

    + Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.

    + Stay up to date with emerging trends and treatments in family medicine.

    Qualifications:

    Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York

     

    Preferred Experience - Prior experience in an outpatient primary care setting is beneficial but not required.

     

    Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution

     

    Skills - Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered communication skills

    Compensation & Benefits:

    + Base Salary Range - $211,622 - $312,300 (commensurate with experience).

    + Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.

    + Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)

    + Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

    + Retirement plans with employer contributions

    + Relocation assistance and annual CME allowance of $4,000 and 40 hours.

    + Potential eligibility for loan repayment programs due to our HPSA designation

    Complexity of Work:

    This role requires advanced clinical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to manage a diverse primary care patient population with complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
