    Job Requisition: REQ3411 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours

     

    Hiring range: $23.46 - $30.50

     

    The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

    Responsibilities:

    + Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.

    + Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. •

    + Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.

    + Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

    + Complexity of work: Within the scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment

     

    Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using Personal Protective Equipment as required.

     

    Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

     

    + Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
