**Job Title** : Project Manager

**Department:** Automation

**Reports to:** Operations Manager

General purpose of job:

Manage the automation portion of all assigned projects for Emcor and outside customers so they are delivered on time, within budget, while maintaining quality standards.

Primary duties:

+ Provide guidance to ensure project milestones are met according to schedule.

+ Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.

+ Writing requests for information, change requests, etc. Providing solutions when possible.

+ Provide closeout documentation at project completion.

Administrative duties:

+ Maintain excellent communication between the automation department and its customers.

+ Verbally communicate as much as possible.

+ Follow up important verbal communication with email for record.

+ Fully understand the scope of the project.

+ Coordinate schedule with team members

+ Continue to monitor project to ensure adherence to design, scope, specifications, plans.

+ Evaluate estimate with job cost report throughout project.

+ Maintain assigned company vehicle

+ Assist manager with staffing and training needs

Required skills:

+ Even temperament and good judgement

+ Command of the technical language and processes involved with automation and mechanical systems

+ Good organizational and planning and planning skills

+ Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Good critical thinking skills (striving for win-win)

+ Understands and executes “completion”

+ Fosters relationships with customers and team members
