Summary:

As an IT Support Technician at Team Lyders, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the organization's technology infrastructure. You will update systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide hands-on IT support across multiple locations. This role requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset and occasional travel to support operations.

The Day-to-Day

Maintain IT Systems and Infrastructure

+ Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.

+ Monitor and support network equipment, including switches and servers.

+ Install, test, and maintain software, firewalls, network switches, and security updates.

+ Manage and maintain backups to ensure data integrity.

+ Support LAN/WAN, anti-virus, Wi-Fi, and network cabling needs.

Provide Technical Support

+ Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

+ Provide both remote and onsite IT support.

+ Assist with video surveillance system maintenance and troubleshooting.

+ Monitor web performance, network availability, and security.

+ Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.

Is This You?

+ Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

+ CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or other related IT certifications).

+ Experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support specialist.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

+ Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and email administration is a plus.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.

+ Up-to-date knowledge of emerging IT technologies and system updates.

+ Must be 18 years or older.

+ Ability to pass a background screening and MVR check.

+ Valid driver's license required for banking duties.

+ Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and extended shifts when necessary.

+ Perceive attributes of objects and materials, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touch.

Frequently required to:

+ Walk about.

+ Maintain balance while walking, standing, crouching, or running.

+ Reach up and out with hands and arms.

+ Lift and push/pull up to 40 pounds over a distance of 20 feet.

Occasionally required to:

+ Climb stairs or ladders.

+ Twist the upper torso.

+ Stand for long periods without a break.

+ Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

+ Lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds over a distance of 15 feet.

Work Environment

The employee is regularly exposed to both indoor and outdoor conditions with a moderate noise level. Indoor conditions may also include exposure to heat, cold, water, cleaning chemicals, grease, and oil.
