ManTech is seeking a **Cloud** **Software Engineers to join our team** in the **Ft. Meade, MD area** . In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Design and develop software solutions using Kubernetes.

+ Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.

+ Develop high-quality software design and architecture.

+ Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.

+ Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.

+ Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

+ Review and debug code.

+ Perform validation and verification testing.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.

+ Document development phases and monitor systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

+ 3 years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

+ Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java)

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles

+ Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, containerd) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).

Certification requirements:

One or more of the following is required or must be able to obtain one:

+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

+ AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

+ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional

+ Certified Kubernetes Application Developer

+ Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Clearance Requirements:

+ Must have current/active TS/SCI w Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
