Rotating Equipment Engineers (REE) provides engineering support for the repair operations executed at the Turbo Services Houston facility or the field. Engineers have duties and responsibilities in the following areas:
+ Engineering Analysis
+ Mechanical Design
+ Machinery Diagnostics
REEs provide specialized engineering and analytical services to support repair projects executed at the Services facilities or standalone engineering services rendered directly to end users in the following areas but not limited to:
+ Repairs of steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors and hot gas expander
+ Failure analysis of rotating equipment
+ Reverse engineering and CAD modeling of parts as required for the engineering tasks
+ Structural and modal analysis for design and evaluation
+ Aerodynamic re-rates
+ Rotating equipment design improvements and specialized repairs
+ Technical trainings
Responsibilities:
+ Execute of the analytical tasks and service listed above
+ Provide engineering support to the operations, including disposition of repairs, design of specialized fixturing, tooling
+ Responsible for the general outcome and execution of the analytical project when
other engineers serve as collaborators
+ Effectively document details of projects, including requirements, decision-making process and dispositions provided.
+ Interface with sales and operations during the development of technical proposals.
+ Compose technical reports, memos, and presentations.
+ Develop and maintain tools and procedures implemented within the Engineering Department
+ Support operations quality improvements
**QESH** (Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health)

Responsibilities:
+ Takes personal responsibility for their own, and co-worker’s safety
+ Identify problems and areas of improvement and notify management accordingly
Minimum Requirements:
+ Engineering degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
+ Prior experience in the field of turbomachinery (steam turbines, compressors, gas turbines, pumps) is highly preferable.
+ Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX), reverse engineering equipment and software
+ Experience with engineering analysis packages (ANSYS).
+ Excellent writing and presenting skills (technical reports, proposals, presentations).
+ Professional Engineer certification would a plus.
