Description

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst who is experienced with MBPS and IETM development to support life cycle maintenance and integrated logistics product development and sustainment for U.S. Navy C4I systems, specifically Naval Messaging.

This role is an onsite position located in San Diego, CA at Naval Base Point Loma.

JOB DUTIES:

+ The development and maintenance of Interactive Electronic Training Manuals (IETMs) and PMS (Preventive Maintenance System) documentation.

+ Responsible for development of C4I system logistics products to support system installations, specifically, Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Packages and Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) work files developed and submitted within the Navy Data Environment (NDE).

+ MBPS/CDMD-OA creation of new configuration files/COP loads and updates to existing files.

+ Must have thorough understanding of ILS Certs, SWDs, ACLs/APLs/BOMs, and parts/hardware drawings.

+ Involves direct contact with customers and fleet users and demands performance that is both detail oriented and time critical.

+ Interpreting installation drawings, allowance parts lists (APLs), and ILS Certifications to prepare work files in support of C4I system installations, as well as extracting data from NDE to support delivery of ILS packages.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen.

+ Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

+ Possess a comprehensive working knowledge of U.S. Navy and Department of Defense logistics systems including supply processes, stock control, warehousing, inventory management, depot level repair, production, integration design, and physical distribution of supplies.

+ Duties of the position include interpreting installation drawings, allowance parts lists (APLs), and ILS Certifications to prepare work files in support of C4I system installations, as well as extracting data from NDE to support deliver of ILS packages.

+ Experience with MBPS and IETMs required.

DESIRED SKILLS:

+ Possess a thorough knowledge and documented use of software systems/databases used for logistics support of U.S. Navy material.

+ Ability to exercise independent judgment while working on multiple projects of diverse scope will be key to successful performance of the task requirements associated with this position.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
