Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Audio Embedded DSP Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, design, develop and debug audio features on Android systems.

2. Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions.

3. Develop software for a variety of consumer devices.

4. Develop clean readable code, debug complex problems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency.

5. Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem solving.

Minimum Qualifications:

6. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

7. 2+ years of experience with development of software systems

8. 2+ years experience with C or C++ including audio DSP or machine learning signal processing development experience

9. Experience in Android or Linux audio stack development

10. Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions

11. MS or PHD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

12. Experience with DSP in the audio, video or camera space

13. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

14. Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools.

15. Experience in one or more of the following areas: experience with camera-related software features across all layers of the camera stack, or experience with video-related software features across all layers of the video stack.

Public Compensation:

$56.25/hour to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
