Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reality Labs (RL) Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of our innovative products ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls. You will leverage your business acumen, accounting experience, and systems background to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions with AI integrations.In this role, you will work with limited direction to problem-solve and recommend solutions to ambiguous and emerging problems. Your experience effectively communicating and facilitating information flow between all business partners will set you apart from your peers and fuel your success in this role.

Reality Labs Accountant Responsibilities:
1. Oversee global end-to-end accounting processes and controls with a particular focus on cost and inventory accounting
2. Partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions (including AI integrations)
3. Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to understand emerging business practices and provide accounting support for new initiatives
4. Own month-end close procedures, including subledger management, journal entry and reconciliation review, and other duties as necessary
5. Provide well presented analytical insights that concisely tell the RL story through the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting packages to management
6. Fulfill internal and external audit requests

7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
8. 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
9. CPA or equivalent qualification
10. Exposure to U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls
11. Experience in the Tech industry or similar high-growth/fast-paced environment
12. Experience improving business processes and systems
13. Highly collaborative temperament and communication skills
14. Self-starter with superb attention to detail and possesses an understanding of the "big picture"
15. Experience operating with a high degree of autonomy

18. Experience partnering with Operations and Financial Planning Partners
19. Experience leveraging Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) resources effectively
20. Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion
Public Compensation:
$91,000/year to $133,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
