Responsibilities

The CNP Technologist I functions in the neurodiagnostic laboratories performing electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic, and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment, and must demonstrate minimum competency, skill, and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire.

As our Mayo Clinic Neurology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology, we are looking for amazing Neurodiagnostic Technologists to join our team. This position can be filled by a Tech II or III. Five years of EEG experience is preferred, but not required.

Our technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment, and must demonstrate minimum competency, skill, and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire.

Qualifications

Qualifications (Tech I)

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Graduated (or will graduate soon) from an accredited neurodiagnostic program or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience

+ BLS certification

+ Within two years of employment, specific certification (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM, CAP, ABEM, CNCT, R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire
