Description

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Operates and troubleshoots presses

+ Keep area safe and clean

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Qualifications:

+ Must be able to lift 25 pounds consistently.

+ The ability to read and write in English.

+ Capability of meeting production standards and exceeding established standards on occasion during normal production runs.

+ Ability to recognize quality and production issues and make decisions or communicate them to management.

+ Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machinery, blue prints, and skilled in the use of light industrial equipment.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

+ Operates injection presses to produce parts according to product specifications, utilizing the pDresses, fixtures and some minor hand tools, cutters, cutting tools, and other production related peripherals.

+ Performs basic inspection of Injection Presses utilizing the applicable mentioned production peripherals.

+ Maintains consistent production output standards and records daily output on production log sheets according to department requirements and specifications.

+ Monitors machine operation.

+ Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.

+ Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.

+ Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
