DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Advanced Warehouse Operator to join our Team specializing in logistics for our distribution business segment in San Antonio, Texas.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.

+ Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

+ Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

+ Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.

+ Participate in general inventory duties; cycle counting, location maintenance, etc.

+ Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

+ Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

+ Requires Cummins provided certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.).

+ Forklift and/or other warehouse machinery operating experience preferred.

+ Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications

+ High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
