At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Medical Imager/X-ray/CT to join our team.

The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is:

* Prep and screen patient appropriately for imaging procedure.

* Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.

* Explain and perform radiologic procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient.

* Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

* Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

Ideal Candidate would have the following qualifications:

* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- Currently Registered- Radiography, and CT

* Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.

* Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements

* Current BCLS certification

* 2 years experienced preferred
