    Overview

    **Position:** Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

    **Specialties:** Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Concussion, and Industrial

    **Location:** Select Physical Therapy in Castle Rock, CO (Plum Creek)

    **Schedule:** Weekdays 40 hours with some days treating until 600P

    **Compensation:** Starting at $25/hr

     

    Our Select Physical Therapyoutpatient orthopedic center in Castle Rock COis seeking alicensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are able to consider new graduate physical therapist assistants (LPTA) and offer onsite mentorship. Previous experience is a plus but not required. We treat a diverse caseload offering general orthopedics, sports medicine, concussion, dry needling, fall prevention, and industrial rehabilitative programs.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

    + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

    Qualifications

    + College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

    + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

    + Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

    + CPR certification
