    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Benefits Administrator to manage and oversee employee benefits programs for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering benefit plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to employees during enrollment and claims processes. This role is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and requires excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

    • Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    • Provide support to employees during open enrollment periods, ensuring they understand their options and can make informed decisions.

    • Oversee claims administration processes, resolving issues and coordinating with insurance providers as needed.

    • Handle COBRA administration tasks and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

    • Prepare and distribute communications regarding benefit packages, updates, and changes to employees.

    • Process garnishments and maintain accurate records related to employee benefits.

    • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless integration of benefits data.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze benefits data, generate reports, and identify trends.

    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains compliant.

    Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.

     

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

    • Strong knowledge of COBRA regulations and benefits compliance requirements.

    • Experience handling open enrollment processes and assisting employees with benefit selections.

    • Familiarity with claims administration and resolving benefits-related issues.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively explain benefits information.

    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with HR, payroll, and external vendors.
