    Job Overview:

    RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care Observation Unit for Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master s preferred

    + Current New Jersey RN Licensure

    + BLS required. (American Heart Association)

    + A minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience is required

    + Previous experience as a nursing director is preferred,

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Full Time 40 hours per week

    Essential Functions:

    + Accountability and supervision for staff that includes RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries for Observation Unit and other healthcare providers who deliver care to patients in the inpatient setting.

    + Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the Unit

    + An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ New Brunswick

    + Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care

    + This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
