Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Financial Control Testing Analyst- Financial background required. This role will primarily be responsible for conducting control tests across various banking lines to fulfill regulatory and operational requirements from the financial aspect.

Responsibilities:

• Financial background to evaluate the controls

• Conduct control tests in accordance with department policies and procedures, including complex control cases and expedited testing requests

• Manage monthly testing queue and pipeline to ensure timely completion of all tests

• Identify and escalate any findings that fall outside the standard testing scope

• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of control testing results to communicate with various business lines

• Participate in the training and onboarding of new team members

• Maintain a thorough understanding of banking regulations and policies, applying this knowledge to testing functions

• Utilize advanced process controls and audit functions to ensure compliance

• Use Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for testing related activities and documentation

• Handle other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of financial experience in a related role

• Proficiency in detection and identification of potential issues

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated experience in financials/accounting in the following area(s): auditing, including planning, executing, and reporting on audits

• Ability to prepare comprehensive and detailed documentation

• Knowledge of advanced process controls and their implementation in the finance world

• Experience in control testing and its methodologies

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining compliance documentation

• Experience in process documentation, ensuring all procedures are accurately recorded

• Proven ability to develop user documentation, providing clear instructions for system use

• In-depth understanding of banking compliance and its regulations

• Familiarity with the banking industry and its operational procedures

• Proven track record in conducting annual internal and external audits

• Experience in managing various audit activities, including follow-ups and resolutions.
