Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Windsor, Connecticut. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing company while utilizing your expertise in accounts payable and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and vouchers with high accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.

• Handle accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and reconciling invoices.

• Utilize ERP systems, such as Macola, to manage financial data and streamline processes.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and address payment-related inquiries.

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on accounts payable activities.

• Ensure adherence to deadlines for invoice processing and payment schedules.

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by reconciling accounts as needed.

• Stay updated on best practices and company guidelines for accounts payable processing. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with ERP systems is highly preferred.

• Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
