Description We are looking for a dedicated Software Specialist I to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will support the development, integration, and analysis of information systems and software applications. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to collaborate on routine assignments while gaining valuable experience in software development and systems operations.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and integration of software applications and systems to meet project objectives.
• Follow detailed procedures and instructions to ensure the accurate and timely execution of tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and customers to address routine technical issues and provide solutions.
• Perform basic programming and data manipulation tasks to support project requirements.
• Manage electronic files and ensure their accurate movement through various systems.
• Support quality assurance processes by following established standards and guidelines.
• Utilize customer service and liaison skills to address client inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, including those related to HIPAA and data security.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing assignments within defined timelines and quality standards.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of company systems. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent with 0-1 years of technical training or experience.
• Basic understanding of programming, software development, and system integration principles.
• Proficiency in using personal computers and operating systems, including PC OS.
• Strong data manipulation skills and familiarity with electronic file management.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures with limited supervision.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with team members and clients.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant company policies.
