Hannah Savage with Robert Half is looking for a highly organized Accounting Specialist to manage accounting and administrative tasks for an organization in Le Roy, New York. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administration. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions by reviewing invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring accurate general ledger coding.

• Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues and maintain productive relationships.

• Create and distribute invoices for accounts receivable, ensuring proper coding to the general ledger.

• Enter employee information and timesheet data accurately into the payroll system.

• Manage payroll processing to ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.

• Organize, distribute, and track vendor and subcontractor documentation efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles.

• Strong proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing is a plus

• Experience in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

• Familiarity with construction industry practices and related software, such as Foundation Software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective vendor relationships
