Position Data:

Grade: 2 Non-Exempt

Reports to: Child Care Council Director

Basic Function or Position Summary:

Assists with food preparation and deliver for children and other customers. Assists with cleanup of kitchen, dishes, and prep areas. Pay rate is $15.76 per hour.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties:

+ Food preparation

+ Set up for delivery of food

+ Serves meals

+ Place food into vehicles for transport to off-site locations

+ Wash dishes, floors, and food prep areas

+ Transport food and supplies off-site

+ Assist with stocking of groceries

+ Complete needed paperwork

+ Promotes agency mission

+ Maintains confidentiality and complies with the Code of Ethics

+ Maintains consistent professional customer service

+ Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.

+ Other duties as designated by supervisor

Key Working Relationships:

A. Internal: Center Directors, Head Cook. Assistant Cook, Child Care Council Staff

B. External: Vendors, customers, and agencies

Supervisory Scope:

A. Number of staff supervised: 0

B. Titles supervised: None

Organizational Responsibilities:

+ Adheres to Summer Food and CACFP food preparation and safety regulations

Knowledge, Skills Required:

+ 16 years of age or HS diploma and/or GED

+ Knowledge of health and sanitation procedures and practices.

Special Requirements:

+ Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required

+ Ability to lift to and including 50 pounds

+ Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times
