    Job Summary Mercury Systems manufactures PCBs for the aerospace and defense industry. This is a great opportunity for a an intermediate experienced Soldering to perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. This person will demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. The hours for this position are 5:00am - 2:30pm. Job Responsibilities Include: * Install, assemble, and inspect electronic per documented work instructions * Interpreting Job Routers, written instructions, and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics. * Performing a variety of inspections with a focus on ensuring assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards. * Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts. * Using hand and/or power tools, and assembly palettes. * Apply material according to specifications and under simulated conditions. * Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED and ideally 2+ years related experience preferred. * Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. * Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 50lbs for an extended period of time. * Electronics assembly and inspection experience preferred experience * Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures. * Must be detail oriented and able to multitask. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs. This position is 1st shift and the hours are 5:00 - 2:30pm. Preferred Qualifications: * PCB assembly experience in aerospace, defense or the medical industry * Experience using HAKKO, MetCal or JBC * Experience doing leaded and/or lead-free soldering * Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 preferred * Good written and verbal communication skills.
