At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing

performance, financial oversight and thought leadership. We're looking for a

Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Bloomberg Sell Side business. Reporting

to the Team Lead, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced

organization and handle sensitive Company information with discretion.

We'll trust you to:

+ Manage the financial reporting, analysis, and planningprocess within the Sell Side Product business unit

+ Create and develop detailed financial models and analysis tosupport various strategic initiatives including market analysis and customersegmentation, product launches, and long-term financial growth plans

+ Assist in developing and refining pricing models for adiverse set of products and clients

+ Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams tohelp coordinate reporting of the product, sales and business strategies to themanagement committee

+ Review and present regular financial results packages formanagement

+ Assist in the preparation of the financial forecasts/targetsfor the annual operating plans and updating the financial forecasts throughoutthe year, along with monitoring historical revenue and expense trends

+ Provide executive level communication (both written andoral) to business heads and product managers on the financial results,performance vs. targets, and insights on key variances on a regular basis

+ Participate, on an ongoing basis, in special projectrequests directly from the Management Committee and Senior Management

+ Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and propose andimplement improvements to current internal processes

You'll need to have:

+ 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis,with at least 3 years in a role with financial modeling, planning, reportingand analysis experience

+ Ability to work with large amount of data, while succinctlysummarizing conclusions for management

+ Demonstrated competency with advanced Excel modeling andlarge datasets

+ Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

+ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritizemultiple tasks are required

+ Flexibility to work in an unstructured and fast-movingenvironment

+ Experience partnering with business leadership to assist inbusiness decision making

+ Team player with ability to deal with changing priorities

+ Proficiency in SAP or similar systems

We’d love to see:

+ 3+ years in a role with financial modeling, planning,reporting and analysis experience

+ Commercial model/pricing model development experience

+ Prior work experience at a financial institution ortechnology company
