    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Assists the program with writing technical content such as requirements documentation, specifications, program plans (such as program protection plans, Risk Management Framework mitigation plans/risk burn down), technical portions of the statement of work, and Contract Data Requirements List assessments relating to aircraft and pod product programs. Assists in the development of technical review documentation based on Prime Contractor data submissions, and aids in the development and routing of Engineering Change Proposals. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation and writing style guidance. Ensures that written documentation is clear, unambiguous, and concise.

     

    This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Requirements

    Education

    + MA/MS degree in relevant technical field.

    + Allowable Substitution:Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree or Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree or Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.

    Experience

    + Required Experience: At least 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least 1 of those years demonstrating experience in technical writing.

    + Desired Experience: At least 1 year of experience in NAVAIR technical writing as described in the functional description.

     

    Security

     

    + Active TS//SCI clearance with current background investigation is desired.

    + At minimum, Active Top-Secret clearance with current background investigation is required.

    Salary Description

    $109,984 - $153,258 depending on experience
