Job Description
As a Forge Heat Treat Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy industrial machinery to perform tasks such as heat treating aluminum and titanium steel parts, and handling steel using a robotic crane. You must be open to all shifts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Use a robotic crane to load and unload steel to and from the forge.
+ Heat treat aluminum and titanium steel parts.
+ Operate equipment that lifts up to 200 lbs of steel.
+ Operate or tend presses and forging machines for hot or cold forging.
+ Identify and manage processing sequences and furnace temperature.
+ Perform dye checks of forgings.
+ Examine raw materials to ensure quality standards for forging.
+ Work with metals that reach temperatures up to 800 degrees.

Work Environment
The work environment is a heavy industrial manufacturing setting, inspecting finished forged metals. Expect varying temperatures with hot conditions in the summer and cold in the winter. Metals weighing between 20 - 350 lbs are handled using cranes or automated robots, eliminating physical lifting requirements. Employees are stationed at assigned workstations but will move around for different quality testing tasks.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
Supplementary pay plan – in addition to salary OT is paid in blocks of 2 hours ($125), 4 hours ($250), 8 hours ($500)
• Will be paid $250/month for working 3rd (shift differential)
