    Description

    This position is responsible for a material handler, shipping/receiving and inventory position. The position works within a warehouse where they store raw materials for one of their manufacturing facilities as well as finished products that are ready for delivery to their customers. The raw materials that they will be handling are valuable and potentially fragile so cautious handling is a requirement. For the finished products, they are large electrical panels that may fit on one pallet or multiple pallets so the shape of the product could be large so forklift operation is to be slow and controlled to ensure safe handling of the product. The pace of the environment is productive but not high quota driven, more focus on meeting deadlines but maintaining organization and proper storage of inventory.

    Responsibilities include

    Operator sit down forklift at times, moving larger control boxes

    Utilize RF Scanners and basic computer skills

    Lift and move boxes to assigned locations

    Job Requirements

    At least 2 years’ experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator within a manufacturing warehouse (distribution center candidates are less desired)

     

    Basic computer skills

     

    Ability to lift 50 pounds

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
