    Job Title: Mezzanine Mat Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Mezzanine Mat Assembler. The ideal candidate must have proficiency in reading a ruler, physical strength to stand for up to 8 hours a day, and the ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds. Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential, as all tasks are performed by hand. The candidate should possess strong language skills to read and understand written English, and individuals with crafting hobbies tend to excel in this role.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble mezzanine mats with precision and accuracy.

    + Read and measure using a ruler and other tools.

    + Stand and work for extended periods of up to 8 hours a day.

    + Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly.

    + Meet production expectations of 300 to 500 mats per day once proficient.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading a ruler and passing the ruler test in office.

    + Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day and lift up to 25 pounds.

    + Attention to detail and manual dexterity for handcrafting tasks.

    + Ability to read and understand written English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Interest or hobby in crafting.

    + Experience in production, assembly, packaging, general production, and packing.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment consists of a small production floor with a close-knit team. The company provides a supportive atmosphere where craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued.

     

    **Shift:** Monday - Friday 6am-2:45pm; Must be able to work until 4:45pm for overtime and Saturdays as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
