Job Title: 2nd Shift - Warehouse Operator

Job Description

Join a dedicated agriscience company on the 2nd shift from 12 am to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Operate a sit-down forklift and assist in stacking and handling agricultural seed bags, contributing to a legacy of scientific achievement in agriculture.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a sit-down forklift to stack bags of agricultural seed, typically 2-3 bags high.

+ Apply general production policies and procedures to provide production support.

+ Lift and throw seed bags, label products, and assist with bagging products when not operating the forklift.

+ Consistently lift 50+ lbs as needed.

+ Engage in repetitive tasks as part of the production process.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse operations.

+ Proficiency in operating a forklift, specifically sit-down models.

+ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

Work Environment

The warehouse is very clean and organized, with temperatures ranging from 45-50°F in the winter months and warmer in the summer. The dress code requires wearing a T-Shirt, Jeans, and steel-toe boots without exceptions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
